Ahhh....flying. Don't you love it.
Well some do and some don't. Its a bit like learning...some do and some don't.
Me?...well I like it. Call it "yoga for the brain"...yep, sometimes it hurts but think of the benefits you accomplish!
So...what I'd like to learn is more about the idiocincrisies of the internet. I know its not human but it is certainly evolving continually. The jargon, the path ways to grt there and how and what to do with them when you get there.
Also...does'nt make you look like a dork when ta patron asks..."What's this?"
Lifelong learning gives all the benefits of "mental yoga". I think U3A have got the right idea.. no mattter the age we can all learn something!
I thought "blogging" was just for the youth but have discovered the benefits for organisations, groups nad even library services to gain information on selected topic. I see the benefits for historical groups and societies to "put the word out there"to gather information for present and future generations.
I can see a sucessful blog happening by a local landcare group who are investigating sand mining in the 1950's and 60's in our local area. You know I may just do that!
Blogging for a client audence is certainly the way to go on the "super web highway".
